Inviting players
A campaign needs a table. Here is how to seat yours, and what your players see on the other end.
Open the invite dialog
On campaign home, choose Invite players. On a fresh campaign with an empty roster the same button reads Invite your table. The first-night strip's invite step opens it too, and so does the campaign's Players page.
Share a table link
Choose Make a table link, then Copy link. Drop it wherever your group talks. Anyone who opens it joins as a player, up to 8 seats, for a week.
Open the dialog again later and you get the same link back, not a new one, until it runs out of seats or time.
Send by email
Type an address under Send by email and hit Send. They get a join link in their inbox. Played with someone before? They show up under Recent players for a one-tap re-invite.
What your players see
The invite page shows the campaign, the role they'll join as, and whether the campaign allows AI-assisted tools, so nobody signs up blind. Signed-in players choose Accept Invite and they're in.
No account yet? Sign-ups are on a waitlist for now, so the invite can't make one for them. They can join the waitlist, or you can send them an account invite from Invite a friend in your account menu. Anyone who already has an account signs in and lands right back on the invite.
Once they join, they build their own character. You can hand out characters later from the Characters page if you've made some ahead of time.
Keep track of who is coming
The Players page lists everyone at the table and every invite still waiting. Copy a pending link, revoke one you sent by mistake, or change a member's role there.
If a player sees Invite Not Found, the link expired, ran out of seats, or was revoked. Make a fresh one and send it again.
Using Discord? Optional
A table link works anywhere, so posting it in your Discord server is just another place to paste it. You don't need the Nexus bot for invites. If you want reminders and transcripts in Discord too, see Discord setup for GMs.
