Gordin's Delve is a town of seven to eight hundred souls built around Forge Lord ruins and profitable mines in the Huffel Peaks. Ore, Foundry, merchants, Delves, and opportunity brought people in; exploitation, danger, and desperation keep them there.
There is no council and little militia. The Bosses control the major pieces of the economy, The Keeps run the businesses that feed off miners, and the Delves themselves lead into older and stranger dangers.
The Bosses
Each controls a slice of the local economy; everyone in town relies on what they hold, and when one topples the town shakes. Each is attended by 10-15 family, servants, and retainers.
- Mutra the Teeth — mines, timber
- Odo Thriceborn — mines, housing
- Honest Draigh — trade with Marshedge, food
- Jahalim of the Keys — Foundry
- Smiling Ffransis — water, booze
Hooks
Gordin's Delve is Stonetop's metal-and-trouble neighbor: a place to buy tools, sell grain, hire specialists, lose people underground, get tangled with Bosses, and see what happens when a town has wealth without solidarity.
