Odo Thriceborn
A Boss who decides where miners sleep and whether they work — generosity and threat from the same hand.
Where the miners sleep and where they work are both his to give or take. Odo Thriceborn is one of Gordin's Delve's Bosses — he controls mines and housing, which is two squeezes on the same neck.
Like the other Bosses, he runs on patronage and pressure, and the constant implication of who eats next.
Appearance: A stocky man with a barrel chest and close-cropped grey hair, dressed in a heavy wool tunic dyed a deep rust-brown. His face is fleshy and faintly jovial, but his hands rest at his sides with the controlled stillness of someone accustomed to being obeyed without raising them.
