The Bosses control major pieces of Gordin’s Delve’s economy while the Keeps run its daily trades and businesses.
The handful of bosses who carve up Gordin's Delve's economy between them — unstable positions whose collapse shakes the whole town.
Each Boss runs a big part of the local economy and is attended by family, servants, and retainers. Merchants usually operate with Boss backing, and independent trade requires a careful dance.

Hooks
Use the Bosses as patronage, debt, labor exploitation, protection, and sudden violence. Miners, smelters, loggers, Keeps, desperate souls, and merchants all live inside systems the Bosses profit from. A Boss's death or fall is not clean justice; it is a local crisis.
