Ammunition and weapons made of siccatite are constantly surrounded by shimmering heat or a corona of rime, depending on the siccatite's type. Siccatite weapons automatically gain either a Flaming Module or Frost Module weapon upgrade that deals 1d8 damage instead of 1d6, for hot and cold siccatite respectively. High-grade siccatite gains a tactical flaming module or tactical frost module instead. A thermal dynafan's design makes it easier to incorporate siccatite when constructing their heatsink in pairs; you can purchase or craft a pair of connected thermal dynafans as if it were a single weapon with 2 Bulk.
