You take damage of the specified type at the end of each of your turns. At the end of each turn after taking the damage, you may attempt a DC 15 flat check to end the condition. Some actions and assistance can lower the DC or grant additional attempts.
Persistent Damage is not taken immediately when first applied — it waits until end of turn. It can be doubled or halved from attack/save results like normal damage. Multiple sources of the same damage type stack as separate instances.
