Acrobatics
Dexterity-based skill for balancing, tumbling through enemies, squeezing through tight gaps, and aerial maneuvers.
Acrobatics (Dexterity)
Acrobatics measures your ability to perform feats of balance, agility, and nimble movement. It covers tumbling through combat, maintaining footing on treacherous surfaces, and squeezing through tight spaces.
Untrained actions:
- Balance: Move across a narrow surface or uneven ground without falling. Failure means you fall prone; critical failure means you fall off entirely.
- Tumble Through: Move through a hostile creature's space by rolling under or around them. Failure means you're blocked and must stop.
- Squeeze: Move through a space even tighter than your size category allows at half speed.
Trained actions:
- Maneuver in Flight: Change direction or maintain altitude while flying in difficult conditions.
- Arrest a Fall: When falling adjacent to a wall, reduce fall damage by slowing your descent.
Critical Success: Exceptional results — balance across a surface at full speed without risk, or pass through a hostile space and leave it without triggering reactions.
Critical Failure: Dramatic failure — fall prone, fall off the surface, or become trapped in a squeeze.
