The Loom District

Five-story garment mills that ran three shifts through the boom and stood empty through the Collapse — half artist studios now, half flipped by investors carving up the rest. This is where the fight over who the recovery belongs to gets literal: a mill that trained three generations of factory hands now rents lofts to people who never met one. Villains love the acoustics. So do the team's own landlord troubles.

Appearance: Rows of five-story brick mill buildings with tall multi-paned windows, some boarded, some scaffolded, some strung with string lights over new rooftop patios. Old loading docks sit half-reclaimed by ivy and half-repaved for delivery vans.
