Granted Features
Automatic:
Bonus action grants Sleight of Hand check to pick locks, disarm traps with Thieves' Tools, or pick pockets; alternatively use the Utilize action or Magic action on a magic item. Search fit: bonus action lock picking, trap disarming, magic item activation.
Grants climb speed equal to your Speed and allows jump distance to use Dexterity instead of Strength. Search fit: vertical mobility, climbing without equipment, dexterity-based jumping, reaching hard-to-access places.

Thief (Rogue)

Thieves hone their skills in stealth, sleight of hand, and climbing.

Chosen at: Level 3

Level 3 — Fast Hands: Use the bonus action granted by Cunning Action to also make a Sleight of Hand check, use thieves' tools to disarm a trap or open a lock, or take the Use an Object action.

Level 3 — Second-Story Work: Climbing no longer costs extra movement. Adds Dexterity modifier to distance of running jumps.

Level 9 — Supreme Sneak: Advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks when moving at half your speed or less on the same turn.

Level 13 — Use Magic Device: Ignore all class, race, and level requirements for using magic items.

Level 17 — Thief's Reflexes: Take two turns during the first round of combat. First turn is at your initiative; second is at initiative minus 10.
