The Whitefang Mountains
The great jagged wall where the known world ends and the deep cold begins.
To southerners they are the wall at the top of the map. The Whitefang Mountains form the northern border of the World's End, running from the Huffel Peaks along the Great Wood and North Manmarch to the Dread River and beyond — holding farm valleys, fortress-monasteries, mammoth herders, mountain folk, dangerous passes, and Rime Lord remnants.
To their inhabitants they are a network of valleys, monasteries, trade, tithes, taboos, and survival knowledge — remote and severe only from the outside.
Hooks
Use the Whitefangs for cold, altitude, isolation, ivory and wool trade, Barrier Pass politics, mountain apes, kyakaara, Tor's Fist, hidden adepts, and the lingering discipline of The Rime Lords.
