Emerging Drift Lanes have sparked a new golden age of piracy. The Free Captains are pirates united by the Broken Rock Oath, an alliance between hundreds of pirate crews. The code forbids conflicts between pirates outside of sanctioned duels, lists untouchable clients protected by costly rackets, and prevents pledgers from sharing secrets with anyone not sworn to the black flag.
