Lore

Lore represents specialized knowledge in a narrow field chosen during character creation or background selection. Each character has one or more Lore subcategories (e.g., Sailing Lore, Underworld Lore, Herbalism Lore, Architecture Lore).

Untrained actions:

• Recall Knowledge: Remember facts relevant to your specific Lore subcategory. This is more targeted than broader knowledge skills.
• Earn Income: Work as a specialist in your Lore field between adventures.

How Lore Works:

• Each Lore is its own skill, always linked to Intelligence.
• You gain a specific Lore when your background grants it, or when a class feature or feat provides one.
• Lore skills cover a narrower topic but with greater depth than general skills like Arcana or Nature.
• You can have multiple different Lore skills.

Examples of Lore Subcategories: Sailing, Academia, Herbalism, Legal, Mercantile, Underworld, Warfare, Scribing, Architecture, Hunting.
