Barbarians unleash primal fury called Rage to strike harder, endure more damage, and terrify enemies. They are the highest HP class in PF2e and deal massive melee damage.

Key 1st-Level Features:
- Rage (1 action): Enter a state of fury lasting 1 minute (or until encounter ends). While raging: deal 2 extra damage with melee Strikes (halved for agile weapons), gain temporary HP equal to your level + Constitution modifier, and cannot use actions with the concentrate trait (except Seek and rage-trait actions). After raging, you cannot Rage again for 1 minute.
- Instinct: Choose a thematic archetype — Animal (shape and emulate a beast), Dragon (draconic power), Fury (pure aggression), Giant (enlarged strikes), Spirit (supernatural resilience), or Superstition (magic resistance). Each modifies what you can do while raging.
- Brutality (level 2): Trained → Expert weapon proficiency.
Rage Damage: +2 at 1st level (halved for agile weapons). Instinct abilities may add additional damage types or effects at higher levels.
