Forest Folk Treasures

Worn, story-steeped finds traded through generations before any village had walls.

Forest Folk treasures are practical, old, and story-rich: carvings, knapped stone, medicinal herbs, marked bones, tended flora, and artifacts gathered from older powers.

Treasures

  • A small wooden carving of a beast or chimera; Value 0.
  • An oversized, exquisitely knapped flint spearhead; crude, awkward, Value 1 to a collector.
  • A big wooden bowl with a lid sealed in beeswax, holding dried medicinal herbs; Value 2.
  • A mostly buried elephant-sized skeleton, its bones carved with glyphs and pictograms that tell an important story; immobile, Value 2.
  • An acre of forest where 3d6 useful flora grow in careful harmony; 1d6-1 are harvestable now.

Held artifacts of others

  • Forest Folk sites can also hold artifacts of the Green Lords, spirits of the wild, Fae gifts, objects of death and the undying, or cursed artifacts from the Things Below.
