Oparma Div
Gatekeeper of Barrier Pass, offering peace to all who arrive and patience to those who don't.
The face the southern road meets first. Oparma Div is one of the Three Honored Sages of Barrier Pass and the leader of White Crystal — the largest of the three sects, the one that teaches contemplation and inner peace, and the one that handles the fortress-monastery's dealings with the outside world.
Appearance: A tall, spare man in robes the color of undyed linen, with a shaved head and the composed, unhurried bearing of someone who has spent decades choosing stillness over reaction. His eyes are warm but evaluating; his hands are folded inside his sleeves, and he tends to incline his head slightly when he listens.
Instinct: To tame chaos
