Astor
A low-born hunter's ghost, still handsome, still proud, still burning with an old betrayal.
Centuries of comply-or-be-bound have soured what was once a noble soul. Astor — a bitter, jealous ghost shackled to one of The Blackwood Fetishes — was in life a low-born hunter, handsome and proud, betrayed by the lover he thought would marry him.
In life, Astor's clan fell under the sway of a sorcerer. Astor snuck away to warn the Makers; Halix — Astor's lover, the lordly heir of their people — sided with the sorcerer instead. The sorcerer used the insincere blood-oath between them to wrench Astor's soul out and bind it to a blackwood figurine. Astor has been a spy and assassin ever since, and the centuries have not been kind to that once-noble soul.
When called forth, Astor manifests as a ghostly hunter — spear in hand, sarcastic, watchful, never quite trusting the commands they're bound to obey.

GM notes
One of the pair of ghosts bound to the Blackwood Fetishes. Treat as follower when called forth. Pair Astor with Halix — their shared history is the lever the GM has on both of them.
