Anan Gllo

Horde, undead, corrupted, tireless, fearless, terrifying. The Hillfolk speak of dark times, when the Things Below gave a gift to a petty chief. Depending on who tells the tale, it was a patch of loose soil or a deep pool of water, the hollow of a dool tree or a great cauldron of rusted iron. Regardless: a corpse placed within this vessel would rise as one of the Anan Gllo, the Empty Dead. The chief raised an undead army, and set out to make themselves king.
