The World's End

The wild frontier at the edge of the known world, where Stonetop and its neighbors hold on.

The World's End is the half-tamed frontier at the edge of the known world — a sweep of hill country, deep forest, old roads, and older ruins that Stonetop and its scattered neighbors call home.

It is bounded by the Whitefang Mountains in the north and the Dread River in the east, and threaded throughout by the Maker-built Makers' Roads. The land remembers fallen ages — the Makers, the Stone Lords, the Barrow Builders — and still feels the slow stirring of the The Things Below sealed beneath it. Civilization thins to wilderness here; settlements cling to the spaces between, and not everything in the dark has forgotten them.
