  • The Barrow BuildersEnemy

The servants of the Stone Lords rebelled, slew their masters, and built the barrow-haunted cultures that followed.

  • The Rime LordsAlly

Both are Maker dynasties remembered among the old northern powers.

Makers who ruled the Steplands, the southern Huffels, and South Manmarch — empire-builders whose grandeur depended on human slaves.

They carved cities from hills, raised towering monuments, and sang stone, crystal, glass, and makerglass into impossible shapes. When the servants of the Green Lords rebelled, the Stone Lords turned on their fellow Makers in horror at the corruption of The Things Below. But the seals had cracked, their own servants rose up, and the Time of Cataclysm swallowed their order.

Ruins

Stone Lord sites are grand, brutal, and often still functioning. They can hold lithic servants, glasswork, mosaics, prisons, monuments, and machines whose scale reflects Maker arrogance.
