North Manmarch
Open prairie and scattered hillforts east of the Great Wood, between the Highway and the unknown north.
North Manmarch lies east of the Great Wood, north of the Highway, and northeast of Marshedge. Its western hills give way to wide, sparsely wooded prairie dotted with hamlets and larger hillforts.
Thousands of Manmarchers live here in hundreds of hamlets clustered around chiefs and fortified settlements. War, blood-feud, wergild, ambition, and uneasy stretches of peace define the region.
Hooks
Use North Manmarch for kinship and violence: refugees, feuding chiefs, butchered relatives, hillfort politics, vanished hamlets, and the possibility that one ambitious leader could unite the region into a much larger threat.
