The Stone

When storms roll over the bluff, lightning hits it again and again. Fifty feet of weathered rock at the center of Stonetop, etched with faded runes and older than the Maker-ruins beneath the village — the Stone is the thing everyone sees every day, and no one truly understands.

Its truth deliberately remains open. It might be a sign of primordial power, channel lightning into some hidden engine, be a relic of the Tempest Lords, or be something stranger than any Maker work.

Use the Stone as Stonetop's anchor: the thing everyone sees every day, the place stories gather, and the obvious focus for omens, lightning, scholars, or old powers disturbing the village.
