Danu, the Great Mother, provides. We need only learn her secrets: the names by which the trees call each other; the mark made with redberry juice to ward off impure spirits; the language of the wolves. A thousand such secrets Danu keeps, to share with only her true children. Her Blessed.

The Blessed is Stonetop's spirit-speaker and keeper of the old ways, a devotee of Danu who tends the village's bond with the wild. They craft charms, wards, and remedies from a magical sacred pouch and parley with the spirits of land and beast on the village's behalf.

Driven by Delight, Detachment, Nurture, Preservation, or Reverence.

Where the Ranger walks the wild as a hunter, the Blessed walks it as a priest — and a Blessed who takes Wild Soul can borrow the Ranger's craft outright.

Sacred Pouch

A magical pouch holding up to 3 Stock of sacred herbs, powders, stones, pigments, chalks, clay, and the like — the raw materials of your craft. Spend Stock to fuel moves such as Call the Spirits, Amulets & Talismans, Wards & Bindings, Veil, and Healer's Arts. The pouch holds +1 Stock at each even-numbered level, and Big Magic adds a remarkable trait plus +2 max Stock each time it's taken. If anyone but you opens the pouch and handles the materials, the Stock is ruined.

A seed of Danu's power has taken root in your soul. When you would spend 1 Stock from your sacred pouch, you may instead lose 2d4 HP.
