Host's Final Gift
When your host creature would cause you to die, it sacrifices itself to preserve you as a reaction (once per day), preventing death and restoring 6d8 plus half your level hit point...
In a final act of bravery and gratitude, your host has decided that preserving your gift of intelligence is more important than preserving itself. Your host prevents you from dying and takes the brunt of whatever force would cause you to die, allowing your body to absorb its rapidly decaying form and regain Hit Points equal to 6d8 plus half your level. If the cause of your death was a condition or effect that would still cause you to die after regaining Hit Points, such as a high value on the doomed condition, you lose the condition or effect as the host creature dies in your stead. You lose the benefits of your heritage and any ancestry feats that require your heritage or having a host until you can find and merge with another host.
