You don't just hum with dim light, you exude a burst of it. When you use Nanite Surge, you can choose to have your circuitry exude bright light in a 10-foot emanation and dim light 10 feet beyond that for 1 round. Creatures that start their turn in the area of your bright light must attempt a Reflex save against the higher of your class DC or spell DC. On a failure, a creature is dazzled for 1 round (or blinded for 1 round and Dazzled for 1 minute on a critical failure). A creature can spend a single Interact action to rub its eyes to remove the Blinded condition.
