Most characters are accustomed to normal gravity conditions, but if your character's home world has unusually high gravity, that might be the norm for them, meaning they don't suffer penalties while exploring such an environment. For example, a barathu character living on Bretheda should have no trouble adapting to other high-gravity worlds but would still take bludgeoning damage in extreme-gravity environments.
