Other Activities

Improvements in automation, communication, and other technologies have dramatically changed living standards for most Pact Worlds citizens since what the people of Lost Golarion called the Age of Lost Omens. Technology and magic are integrated into the fabric of everyday life within most cities, and alien arcologies flourish on distant planets. Characters on a long journey aboard a starship might escape the monotony through entertainment binges or rigorous training, while characters visiting a settlement might explore the local culture, try new delicacies, and seek out nightlife hot spots. There are plenty of new ways to spend downtime in Starfinder. You might browse an infosphere, likely researching information, chatting with other users, or shopping. You might enjoy media by watching reruns aboard your ship, attending a live show at a port of call, or playing games on a console. Though there are options for making money or adjusting your character, it's often better to seek out fun and interesting activities that can open up new opportunities for character building, adventures, or relationships.
