Religion
Wisdom-based skill for identifying divine creatures, recalling religious lore, and working with the divine magic tradition.
Religion (Wisdom)
Religion covers knowledge of divine beings, religious institutions, holy texts, and divine magic. Clerics and champions use Religion as their primary magical tradition skill.
Untrained actions:
- Recall Knowledge: Identify celestials, fiends, and undead. Recall facts about deities, religious practices, and divine phenomena.
Trained actions:
- Identify Magic (Divine): Identify divine spells and magical effects.
- Learn a Spell (Divine): Copy a divine spell from a scroll or holy text.
- Decipher Writing: Decode religious texts, holy symbols, and divine scripts.
Divine Tradition: Religion governs the divine magical tradition used by Clerics, Champions, and some Druids. It is associated with healing, protection, and sanctification.
Pantheons: Campaign settings typically feature diverse pantheons. Deities cover domains like dreams, death, healing, nature, magic, and protection — consult your GM for setting-specific gods.
Critical Failure on Recall Knowledge: Receive dangerously incorrect information.
