Evoker (Wizard)

Evocation wizards focus on spells that channel energy to deal damage and control the battlefield.

Chosen at: Level 2

Level 2 — Evocation Savant: Gold and time to copy evocation spells into your spellbook is halved.

Level 2 — Sculpt Spells: When casting an evocation spell that affects other creatures you can see, choose a number of them up to 1 + the spell's level. Those creatures automatically succeed on saves against the spell and take no damage from it.

Level 6 — Potent Cantrip: Damaging cantrips deal half damage on a successful saving throw.

Level 10 — Empowered Evocation: Add Intelligence modifier to damage rolls of Wizard evocation spells.

Level 14 — Overchannel: When casting a Wizard spell of level 1-5 that deals damage, deal maximum damage. First use after a long rest is free; each subsequent use before a long rest deals 2d12 necrotic damage per spell level to yourself (increasing by 1d12 per additional use). This damage ignores resistance and immunity.
