Wynfor
A child taken by the crinwin because something in his blood was worth collecting.
Old enough to be missed, young enough to be helpless. Wynfor is Glenys's son and Caradoc's nephew — and the child the crinwin take in the first adventure, because he carries the trait the swyn was collecting.
His instinct is to find a way home. His recovery is Caradoc's primary stake.
Moves
- Be the stake that makes the mission personal for Caradoc
- Surface as someone needing rescue, not just a plot objective
- Demonstrate that the village's children are not safe
Appearance: A small village boy of eight or nine, slight and tousle-haired, in undyed homespun wool worn thin at the knees and elbows. A smudge of dirt at one cheek, simple hide shoes scuffed pale, the wiry build of a child who spends his days running the fields.
Instinct: To find a way home
GM notes
Glenys (Caradoc's aunt, Wynfor's mom) — Wynfor is Caradoc's nephew and Glenys's son. He is the child abducted in the first adventure, setting the main plot in motion. His recovery is Caradoc's primary stake.
