The Willow Witches
Three sisters of the Fen who are never quite the same age twice, and never quite what you expect.
There are always three. The Willow Witches are the weird sisters of the Fen — subject of many tales — and whether they appear old, young, or middling aged depends on the telling.
What stays constant: three, and the Fen knows them better than anyone living.
Appearance: Three women who do not match — one appears grey-haired and stooped, one middle-aged with muddy hands, one young enough that her hair hangs loose and unstyled. All three wear fen-cloth that clings slightly to them, the same dim green-brown as standing water, and all three look directly at you at the same moment.
