Riona
Quick-footed guide of the wetlands, too stubborn to turn back when the ground goes wrong.
Riona is a named fen-walker guide — prepared, agile, stubborn.
Her instinct is to assume the worst. Cost: competence shown.
Appearance: A compact, dark-haired woman with the wiry build of someone who moves fast over uneven ground. Her face is weatherbeaten and sun-browned, her expression permanently set to mild skepticism. She carries a long iron-tipped pole for testing ground and keeps her pack strapped tight.
