His daughter disappeared last winter, and he still shows up when called. Owain is a working man with calloused hands and the cautious optimism of someone who has not yet been badly hurt — though it is starting to wear thin.
His instinct is to do his part. He and Glenys were bitter and nasty towards the PCs in past examples, especially Rhianna. He represents the non-specialist defenders of Stonetop — his presence in a dangerous situation raises the stakes.
