A sage who sleeps while the world changes, trusting stillness to outlast every urgency.
He is rarely awake when visitors come, and his sect prefers it that way. Gar Torjeng is one of the Three Honored Sages of Barrier Pass and the leader of Empty Sky — the sect of preservation and stillness, whose monks spend long stretches in meditative stasis while the world insists on happening around them.
