Alastar

Old as the fen-paths he walks, and twice as treacherous to those who trust him.

Alastar is a named fen-walker guide — exceptional, old, devious.

His instinct is to feel no remorse. Cost: payment in hand.

Appearance: An old man, thin as a heron, with skin the color of dark peat and eyes that are too bright for his age. He wears a cloak of rough homespun held at the neck with an antler toggle, and his feet are bare. He moves through wet ground without making a sound.
