The Chained Beast

An ancient hunger from the deep, bound in makerglass, waiting for the taste of blood.

Solitary, large, corrupted, aquatic, terrifying. The Chained Beast was a gift from the Things Below to a Barrow Builder tyrant. They bound it to a heavy block of makerglass and fed it screaming, bleeding victims; it still sleeps in the lake for years or decades until fresh blood wakes it.
