Screech Eel

Patient, silver-scaled predators that call their kin when something too large drowns alone.

Horde, small, aquatic, stealthy, cautious. Screech eels are five or six feet long and usually hunt fish or fowl alone and silently. Somehow they learned that people are delicious: too big for one eel, but helpless enough in the water once a screech calls the others in.
