Grochslon

A pale eyeless hunter from the lightless depths, climbing toward warmth and the unwary.

Solitary, patient, stealthy. Grochslons are pale eyeless things from the lightless lakes beneath the Steplands, like huge salamanders or snakes with two stubby muscular legs. Food below is sparse, so they climb to cave mouths and darker shelters where no one expects them.
