Frythanc

A pale-bellied shadow that blots the sky before you hear the wind of its dive.

Solitary, large, stealthy, terrifying. Frythanc are great scaly birds with forty-foot wings and pale undersides that vanish into the sky. They roost in the Huffel Peaks and hunt the Flats by snatching prey, dropping it from terrible heights, then dining on the crippled remains.
