Adept
A disciple who purged flesh from will and found something cold and hungry at the center.
Solitary, cautious, cunning, magical. The Rime Lords taught that the self could be perfected: bodily need purged, mind freed from flesh, will made absolute. For most disciples this meant discipline and clarity; for adepts, it unlocked a fragment of their masters' power and fed rival sects, schisms, and purges.
