One who learned to listen to the dead and found the dead had altogether too much to say.

Solitary, cautious, cunning, magical, death-wise. 'Tis an odd sort, who would have truck with spirits of the dead. But some are born with the Sight, and a morbid curiosity. If they can avoid getting themselves killed by hungry ghosts or outraged locals… well, the dead have all manner of secrets to teach.
