The Huffel Peaks
Jagged mountains opened by the Makers, their wounds still weeping ore and old darkness.
The mountains that opened up because the Makers cut into them, and have been bleeding ore and trouble ever since. The Huffel Peaks run along the western edge of the Flats and Steplands, joining the Whitefangs in the north — not as tall as those northern giants, but jagged granite and basalt, volcanic, mineral-rich, and dangerous.
The range holds Gordin's Delve, entrances to The Labyrinth, Forge Lord ruins, Ustrina routes, ores, gems, magma, and old industrial scars. Beyond the peaks lies a vast water.
Hooks
Use the Huffels when wealth and danger are the same thing: mining claims, toxic cinnabar, volcanic hazards, Forge Lord relics, missing crews, mountain predators, Ustrina trade, and expeditions that go too deep.
