The Makers' Roads

Dust does not settle on them. Predators shun them. Things of darkness, chaos, and death are repelled by them — and no one alive knows how the stones were made to do that. The Makers' Roads are wide, grand, humbling, and have endured centuries without maintenance.

The West Road, The Highway, The Crossroads, waysides, and broken road-stones all belong to this old network. The roads still shape trade, danger, ritual, and travel across the World's End.

Use the Roads as holy infrastructure: safer than wilderness but never mundane, resistant to violence, full of old rules, and a reason why settlements and threats line up the way they do.
