Drawn from vein and sky-fall both — silent as a sealed door, deaf to every working of power.

Any object crafted in part or whole from Black Iron — the metal retrieved from rare veins and meteorites, completely and utterly immune to magic.

Black iron's properties:

The Fae treat it like iron but worse: its touch unravels their magic and deals +1d6 damage (messy, ignores armor)
Spirits cannot touch it and perhaps cannot even perceive it
It can damage insubstantial manifest spirits, but does them no true harm
It damages or destroys any open portal it contacts
No spell, ritual, or magic can affect, pierce, detect, or perceive things enclosed by it

An object of black iron adds +2 to the base item's Value.
