A cord of beads, each one a small caged ruin waiting to be loosed.

A 3-foot braid crusted with flaking matter and threaded with 2d4 redwood beads, each containing a wound, sickness, poison, or delusion. The braid binds a spirit of blight. When the braid is unwoven and a bead drops to earth, the spirit manifests as a warm damp wind and inflicts the stored harm on someone present, or chooses a victim at random.
