A 12-foot pillar of dark purple ice standing on a rune-etched stone slab in a high meadow, the runes a spell waiting to be triggered. When the command word is spoken, the dark ice expands in a flash, encasing the slab and anything on it, trapping even spirits. Mortal prisoners soon perish, their souls left ensnared.
