Bejeweled Helm

A roaring crown that stops time and devours its own jewels.

A bronze helm, battered and adorned with seven fittings, 1d4+1 of which bear purple gems that hum ominously. When you wear it, you sense how to use the gems but can hear nothing over the noise. Unleashing a gem can freeze a target in time and space while you focus; maintaining that focus risks debility and time-space instability. Each gem used crumbles to dust.
