Black Iron

Meteor-fallen metal that magic cannot touch, pierce, or see.

A rare metal recovered mostly from meteorites, utterly immune to magic. The Fae treat it like worse iron, and spirits cannot touch it or perhaps even perceive it. It can wound insubstantial manifest spirits and destroys any open portal it touches, and magic cannot affect, pierce, detect, or perceive anything enclosed within it.
