A matched pair: one a flawless silvered mirror three feet tall in a golden frame, the other smaller and bronze-framed, carved with an inverted inscription and fitted with a stained needle. When you prick your finger and touch the smaller mirror, it shows whatever is reflected in the larger mirror until you break contact.
