The Tempest Lords

Their castles flew. The Tempest Lords were possibly the first of the Makers — sky-sailors who leashed the elements, charted stars no one else has seen, and conquered downward from the clouds.

They charted seas and stars, built mighty ships and flying castles, and sailed out from their island home to conquer. Their magic is tied to weather, aether, roads, vessels, towers, engines, and elemental power. Their old works intersect with other Maker legacies, and Tempest Lord ruins can appear along coasts, roads, mountains, and high places. Their relics are the sort of wonders that draw delvers, merchants, Ustrina, cultists, and ambitious stewards.

Use Tempest Lord sites for height, weather, lightning, broken navigation, aetherium, floating structures, old routes, or a ruin whose danger is environmental before it is personal.
