Wisent Kill Site (Drake Feeding Ground)
Fresh offal and split bone — something vast came here to feed and will come again.

- Clue
Chewed-on wisent bones snapped at the joints, claw prints, a few shed feathers, and offal so fresh the flies are bad. Less than a day old.
The model clue from the Discoveries chapter — given as the answer to Forage's something interesting or useful. The bones are nouns that tell a story: feathered drakes hunt here, three of them, two driving prey to a third in ambush. And — critically — they ate recently, so they aren't on the hunt right now.
Revelation
A trio of full-grown feathered drakes works this territory. The PCs have a window — clear the area before they hunt again — but only if they read the scene fast.
When PCs Seek Insight
- What should I be on the lookout for? → Two drakes drove the wisent toward a third waiting in ambush. The pattern is the danger
- Anything useful? → The drakes are sated. Move quickly and they won't engage
Ask the player how they figure it out. Tracks plus working knowledge of drakes is the obvious answer.
